Philip John Perinchief is a lawyer and political figure who served as the Attorney-General of Bermuda from 2006 to 2007 under the Progressive Labour Party government. In this role, he was the principal legal advisor to the government and held the position of Minister of Legal Affairs. Beyond his tenure as Attorney-General, Mr. Perinchief has been an advocate for electoral reform in Bermuda, proposing a shift from the first-past-the-post system to a proportional representation model to better reflect the electorate’s preferences.
